2021 Epiphone SG Prophecy Red Tiger Aged Gloss

Excellent (near mint) condition featuring asymmetrical double pointed cutaway contoured mahogany body, flame maple veneer top with Red Tiger Aged Gloss finish, two Fishman Fluence humbucking pickups, one volume control and one tone control with brushed nickel knurled metal knobs, three-way pickup selector switch with black tip, LockTone Tune-O-Matic bridge and stop tailpiece, SlimTaper asymmetrical mahogany neck, bound ebony fingerboard with block inlays with abalone center wedges and jumbo frets, black Graph Tech NuBone nut, multiple bound peghead with Epiphone logo and split diamond inlays, three per side locking Grover Rotomatic tuning machines, multi-ply black plastic bell shaped truss rod cover, serial number impressed into the back of the peghead, black plastic electronics cavity cover plates, black finish on the neck and body, brushed nickel metal hardware, two metal strap buttons, and upgraded optional Epiphone EpiLite black hard shell case.

This 2021 Epiphone Prophecy is in near mint condition. This instrument shows almost no signs of play wear throughout and appears to have been played very little - no scratches, dings or funny business, just extremely tidy. This SG features an asymmetrical slim tapered neck profile with a 1 11/16” nut width. This neck is exceptionally comfortable, fast and fun to play. The jumbo fret wire is in immaculate condition and this Prophecy plays like a dream up and down the ebony fingerboard with low smooth action and spot on intonation. The LockTone bridge and tailpiece system combined with the locking Grover Rotomatic tuning machines help to keep the tuning stability of this instrument on point and make string changes a quick and easy. This SG features a set of proprietary Fishman Fluence pickups with three voicing options that are selected with the push/pull master volume and tone controls - high gain, modern active high-output humbucker with both controls pushed in, classic Patent Applied For-style humbucker when the tone control is pulled out, and shimmering, optimized single-coil tones when the volume control is pulled out. The electronics combined with the top notch hardware and incredible playability really make this SG a fantastic, rock solid choice for live performance. Epiphone has done an incredible job with these instruments and, in my opinion, this is a TON of guitar for not a huge pile of money. This instrument is housed in an Epiphone hard shell case for safe travels. It comes with its original paperwork and weighs 8lb 5oz.
