1961 Epiphone Wilshire Red

The Gibson USA built Epiphone Wilshire is the only Gibson made P90 equipped solid body guitar made between 1958 and 1968 that had an ABR-1/stoptail configuration. The only other was the Les Paul goldtop from 56 and early 57 and the reissue of that guitar from 68 on. All the others had wrap tails. I am a huge fan of this model-I own four of them and if I never sell any of them, it's ok with me. They weigh around 6.5 lbs. Neck is wide and medium/slim front to back. All original including the frets with no issues at all. This is a museum grade guitar. Case is mint soft case. It's worth noting that the bridge and tailpiece alone are valued at $4500-$5000 by collectors. It is the same stop tailpiece and no wire bridge found on a 59 Les Paul.
