2000 Ernie Ball Music Man Stingray 4 - Translucent Red/R MH -

In 1971, Leo Fender and a few others began development of this bass, and it went on sale in 1976.

It has been popular ever since its release and has become a standard model along with the Jazz Bass and Precision Bass.

Many world-renowned musicians such as Lewis Johnson and Flea have used this model, and any bassist who has seen it must have admired it at least once.


This model, made in 2000, has an ash body, maple neck, and rosewood fingerboard. This is now the standard Stingray wood configuration.

The head as well as the body is covered in red, a look that simply makes you feel cool.

Controls are MVol, 3Band EQ. EQ has a center click and can be boosted or cut. You can change to various characters at your hand.

The Stingray sound is what you would expect from a Stingray.


There are scratches, dents, and dull parts, but there are no problems with the playing surface.

The frets are about 70-80% full, and there is plenty of room left in the truss rod, so there are no electrical problems.
