Each year ESP allows it's world class guitar builders to create whatever their hearts desire. The results come through the highly coveted ESP Exhibition Limited Series, a range of one of kind guitars and basses with unique woods, finishes, and specs. We're lucky enough to have a stunning F-5 bass from the 2015 series. This came into the shop second hand and is truly a great sounding and playing bass. The body is made of Bubinga, Walnut, and Wenge, with a Paduak top. The shape has a sinister design, and the pickups have a rich bass tone. The neck has a U shape with a satin finish that feels super smooth to play. The craftsmanship really shines in all the detail work. Each element was thought out, from the layered woods to the the inlays. The inlays, both on the fingerboard, side, and knobs are turquoise balls. The tone woods used are strong and full of unique grain and color. The wood covered Seymour Duncan pickups and all the binding take this bass from custom shop to work of art level craftsmanship. Instruments of this caliber are made to be played but will withstand the test of time and can be handed down from generation to generation. If you're looking for a unique bass for you collection, don't let this one of kind guitar slip away.
