Description
Summary: This EC-401 gets great sustain from the Eclipse's set-neck design, which keeps it resonating longer than bolt-on designs. And you've got powerful, articulate tone on demand thanks to EMG humbucking pickups. From chiming cleans to growling high-gain tones, this guitar covers a lot of tonal territory.
Body: Mahogany with a gloss White finish.
Neck: Mahogany with a Rosewood fingerboard, 24.75” scale length, 1.650” nut width, 24 extra jumbo frets, pearl flag inlays.
Pickups/Hardware: Two EMG humbuckers, two volume controls/master tone control/3-way pickup selector, black Grover tuning keys, black hardware, tun-o-matic bridge, stop bar tailpiece.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition. The screws in the pickup covers have started to corrode a bit. The back of the neck is clean and smoot, and the frets are in great shape. It has very light surface scratches throughout that can only be seen in a reflection. Overall, this guitar is in great shape and plays very well.
Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has inspected, setup, and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functional, and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fretboard with no dead spots or choking out.
