Summary: Gary Holt of Slayer and Exodus is a legend in the world of thrash metal. His LTD Signature Series GH-600 is based on the Eclipse body style, and was designed by Gary himself to handle the most aggressive, fast, and powerful playing you can muster. Its tone is driven by a pair of red-covered EMG active pickups. This Guitar is a fantastic player and has been set up with low action, ships in an aftermarket hardshell case.

Body: Mahogany body with an exquisite deep black finish

Neck: The GH-600NT offers a set-thru neck design, thin U profile, three-piece mahogany neck going deep into the guitar's mahogany body cavity for terrific stability and smooth, unhampered access to the highest frets on its ebony fingerboard. The Macassar ebony fretboard and headstock are bound in red, there are 22 frets and diagonally split pearloid block inlays. Nut width- 42mm Scale length- 24 ¾”

Pickups/Hardware: It has an active electronics, 3 way toggle, EMG 89R in the neck, with a coil splitter controlled by a volume knob pull switch, and EMG 81 in the bridge. It has black hardware, locking nut, Floyd Rose 1000, black Grover tuners and buckle clasp strap buttons.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape. There are some pick scratches and various light scratches all over the top, typical for a black gloss finished rocker guitar. The frets are in good shape with a bit of wear on the first three frets but it doesn’t impede the playability. There is also a small spot on the tremolo cavity edge where they burned through the black finish at the factory.

Playability: We set this instrument up with a new set of 10’s, adjusted the neck & made sure the action was low & it plays like a dream.
