The "Viper" series is one of the most popular among the many original ESP models. The lightweight body of the asymmetrical double cutaway design boasts high playability and easy handling, and is a model that responds to the passionate playing of aggressive live performers.
Mahogany body and maple neck. Seymour Duncan SSB-4 pickups and ESP's original 'Cinnamon' preamp are mounted.
Originally, Cinnamon was a 3-band EQ boost/cut control, but this model has eliminated the cut function and only boosts the treble and bass. The midrange can be adjusted with the internal trim. The EQ can also be bypassed by pulling up the master volume knob.
The pickguard and knobs have been replaced, giving it a more modern and harder look than the original!
With a clear low end, this guitar has a brawny and broadly versatile sound.
