EVH 5150 III 6L6 Zebra
In thinking I had found that elusive unicorn, I waited on the front porch for the UPS guy to show up with this head. "Ain't never seen a zebra one. Just ain't never seen one," I repeated in my head as the driver brought the box to me. I got inside and started unpacking this thing and it looked like a fat kid ripping the wrappings off a 25-pound chocolate bar. I started looking this amp over and actually thought I had a one-off, custom ordered, only one on the planet 5150. The grin was ear to ear...
Turns out, I highly suspect this head has been professionally re-tolexed in a killer black and white zebra motif. It's a great job and I can guarantee that the guy that buys this amp will have the only one like it. As to the aforementioned punch in the face, that's exactly what it felt like when I cut this thing on and hit that first chord. There's a metric ton of tonal attitude in this little box and it's got the best distortion of any amp here in the shop, VHT Pitbull included.

We ship via UPS Ground unless other arrangements are made. "General" costs are: Guitars and basses East of the Mississippi river- $55.00-$65.00 Guitars and basses West of the Mississippi river- $65.00-$75.00 Amps- to be determined. All shipping costs can be determined before shipment with a simple inquiry. Items must be returned within 24 hours (of notification of intent to return) in original, as-shipped condition with all original packaging and no signs of use. Buyer assumes responsibility for all return shipping costs unless the item was not received as described.
