EVH Wolfgang Special HT Black with Original Hardshell Case

Summary: This EVH Hardtail Special features a locking nut, Tone-Pros bridge and stop tailpice with fine tuners for ultimate tuning precision. It is in good used condition, ships in its original hardshell case and has just been setup and restrung with a new set of 10s by our in house guitar tech.

Body: It has a basswood body with cream binding, black gloss finish and single cutaway.

Neck: The birdseye maple neck is quartersawn, reinforced with two graphite rods, AA bird's-eye maple fingerboard has a 12" to 16" compound radius and is dressed with stainless steel vintage-size frets, 25.5” scale length and 1.625” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: Custom-designed EVH humbucking pickups are hard-mounted to the body and are wired to Bourns low-friction pots. EVH chrome Gotoh tuners with pearl buttons are built exclusively for the Wolfgang guitar. It has a locking nut, Tone-Pros tune-o-matic bridge and stop bar tailpiece with fine adjustment tuners.

Cosmetics: There are some pick scratches on the top, lots of fine buckle rash, there may have been a sticker on the back at one point, there are some very small dings around the edges of the body and some light scratches on the sides but it is in overall great used shape. The fingerboard shows some minimal discoloration from use.

Playability: Our in-house guitar tech has just inspected, setup and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s. The neck is straight, the truss rod is fully functioning and the action has been setup low and comfortable. The frets are in great shape with no major grooves or divots from use and it plays beautifully up and down the fingerboard with no dead spots or choking out.
