No sales tax for customers outside California. This 2015 Fender Custom Shop Telecaster immediately caught my eye.  It has the coolest, unique look with some tasteful relic work, despite the "heavy relic" mention on the floor traveler form.  Heavy Relics are often over the top.  They nailed this one! If you don't like big necks, you'll have to look at one of our other Fender offerings.  The neck on this guitar is CHUNKY and delightful, if that's your gig.  I am always a bit flummoxed by the tendency for players to be overly particular about neck thickness.  I'm no virtuoso, but one thing I notice as I surround myself with guitars and build my own collection is that I appreciate having varied neck shapes and thicknesses in my stash.  There is something to be gained in tone and feel from each different shape, and if you can adapt you open yourself to a much wider array of tools to make music with.   Anyway, the back of the neck on this guitar received some of Fender's best relic work.  It feels like a worn, old guitar - or like Danocaster's guitars, which have the best aged feel out there.  The frets show very little wear and the truss rod has room for future neck relief adjustments. This is a medium weight piece at just a hair under 7.5 pounds.  It somehow feels lighter to me than the scale revealed. Looks aren't everything, but they are important, and this guitar stands out while remaining classic and classy.  The dirty blonde finish works perfectly with the anodized aluminum pickguard and gold hardware.   There are no alterations, repairs, or issues whatsoever.  The guitar is pretty much perfect and it includes the original paperwork and hardshell case.   Color: Dirty White Blonde Weight: 7lbs 7.7ozs Body: 1 piece Ash Neck: Maple 5/4 QTR Sawn Neck Date/Code: MAR 04 2015 Neck Profile: Nocaster "U" Fretboard: Maple Inlays: Micarta black .250 dots Frets: Sanko 6105 Fret count: 21 Nut: Original bone Nut width: 1 5/8" Scale: 25 1/2" Radius: 9.5" Neck thickness at 1st fret: .935" Neck thickness at 12th fret: 1.05" Action 1st String at 12th Fret: 2/32" Action 6th String at 12th Fret: 2/32" Total length: 38 3/8" Lower bout: 12 5/8" Waist: 8 7/8" Upper bout: 10 7/8" Body depth/thickness outside edge: 1 3/4" String gauge: .010-.046" Hardware Color: Gold Bridge Pickup/Brand: Fender '51 Nocaster BRG REL PL10 Bridge Pickup Reading: 6.67k Pickup Original?: Yes Neck Pickup/Brand: Original '51 Nocaster NK REL GLD RH/LH Neck Pickup Reading: 7.11k Pickup Original?: Yes Pickguard: Original '59 TELE 5 Hole GLD Anodized Bridge: Original Tuners: Original VINT W/Fender logo REL GLD Switch: Original Pots/Codes: Original Case: OHSC Notes: Shipping policy: There are two shipping cost options for purchases made on our site for these states and those to the east of them: Montana, South Dakota, Nebraska, Kansas, Oklahoma, Texas.
