Here we have a 1953 Fender Deluxe Amp with wide panel cabinet and 5B3 circuit. Killer amp and all-original except for some replaced caps and tubes plus the all important 3-prong cable upgrade. The Tweed wrap is in good condition given the age of the amp. The wear is typical of a Tweed-era amp with moderate fading and scuffing and the corner wear that these amps acquire with use over the decades. These wonderful amps don’t sit in a closet, they get used! The overall appearance is quite attractive and exactly what you’d expect on a vintage Tweed Deluxe.
Original speaker with removed bell (bell comes with the amp if you want to reinstall). Replaced power and rectifier tubes. Preamp tubes are vintage but we can’t be certain they’re original. This is a fine example of the wide panel 5E3 Deluxe with only the most minor mods.
