Here's an original pre-owned 2006 Fender 60th Anniversary Jazz Bass. A nice example that is real nice and resonant with a good neck and fantastic tone.
A limited edition model with a traditional look and surprising array of features.
Features a solid alder body and pair of American Vintage '62 black bobbin Jazz Bass pickups. This bass has a decidedly vintage tonal palette, yet the modern S-1 switching provides both series and parallel options for a thicker, punchier sound not available on any vintage Fender model.
The string through body also gives the bass great sustain and plenty of low end fullness. Able to be growly and quite bright with the bridge pickup favored or full and present when dialing up the neck pickup volume.
This bass covers quite a bit of ground and can thump with the best of them when the Tone knob rolled back to taste.
The maple neck has a classic medium C shape with rolled fretboard edges, a thick slab rosewood fretboard, and Fender's traditional 1 1/2" Jazz Bass nut width. The medium jumbo frets have plenty of meat and well rounded crowns with zero wear, playing cleanly up the neck.
On the headstock, the bass has a set of modern chrome tuning machines that turn very smoothly, along with a "Sixty Years" banner and diamond Anniversary badge on the back of the headstock.
Bass has some honest signs of wear. Generally excellent condition. A real nice Made in USA Fender Jazz Bass for a nice price.
Comes with super nice original case and paperwork, polish cloth, and strap included.
