The Fender Classic Series guitars are beautifully crafted, great looking and great sounding recreations of vintage Fender models that won’t break the bank. Made in Mexico, but definitely a cut above the Fender Standard Series, the Classic Series guitars rival American-made Fenders in build quality and performance.
Fender introduced the Thinline Tele model in 1969 with a fully hollow Mahogany body, single F-hole, reshaped pickguard, and traditional single-coil Telecaster pickups. That’s the model upon which this Classic Series ’69 Thinline is based.
Weighing in at just over 6 pounds, this Classic Series ’69 Thinline Telecaster is a joy to play. The guitar is in excellent condition with only the lightest signs of play wear. It still has the protective film on the white pearloid pickguard.
