DESCRIPTION
For your consideration a 1962 Fender 6G15 Reverb Unit with Brown tolex! The first Fender amps didn’t have reverb, this little unit was designed so players could get that tube spring reverb sound that was becoming so popular! It became a staple of surf music and now Fender amps are legendary for their “Fender Reverb”. This is the first version of this unit from the second year of manufacturing! All original transformers and tone caps. It’s had all the typical modifications to keep it running. Classic sound you’ve heard on countless records.

Specs!

This unit is in very good condition. The power cable has been upgraded to a three prong. All the filter caps have been replaced. The octal tube socket has been replaced. It has been retubed. Everything else is original, tolex, knobs, transformers, tone caps. Knob lay out, Dwell, Mix and Tone.
