Fender’s American Original instruments offer specially voiced pickups crafted for authentic sound of specific model years, recreating vintage Fender tone. Lacquer finishes lets the wood breathe naturally with resonant tone. Classic designs were made new and Replay Guitar Exchange is thrilled to be able to offer these instruments to you.

The Fender American Original ’60s Precision Bass like this instrument finished in classic 3 color sunburst, faithfully recreates the workhorse electric bass that the Precision had become by the 1960s. From the clubs of Detroit to the beaches of Southern California, its tone laid the foundation for modern music. The American Original ‘60s Precision Bass has all of the features with which the P Bass conquered the world of music. Elegantly simple, its sound, style and comfort are joined by modern playability. Features include an alder body with lacquer finish, a single Pure Vintage ‘63 split-coil P Bass pickup, and a thick 1963 C-shaped neck profile with a comfortable 9.5”-radius fingerboard.
