Description

Born in Corona, California, the Fender American Performer Telecaster Hum combines exceptional Fender humbucking tone and authentic feel with modern materials and player-oriented features designed to inspire while propelling your playing to new heights.

The American Performer Telecaster Hum includes one of Fender's new American-made Yosemite single-coil pickups, designed for rich, expressive tones, in the bridge position. With flat-staggered pole pieces to increase output and a shellac coating that lets the coil breathe while controlling feedback, Yosemite pickups produce dynamic sounds ideal for any musical situation. In the neck position, a DoubleTap humbucking pickup combines humbucking and single-coil voices, while eliminating volume loss in single-coil mode.

The American Performer Telecaster Hum also features Greasebucket tone circuitry to shape the highs without adding bass, preserving your sound. The modern C-shaped neck sports a 9.5” radius fingerboard that’s comfortable for nearly any playing style, along with 22 jumbo frets for effortless and accurate bending.

Replay Guitar Exchange is proud to offer Fender's American Performer Series Telecaster Hum in Vintage White (which looks to the literal-minded like a pleasant, pale yellow). We like the feel of the necks, and the look and feel of the finishes. As always, feel free to contact our store for more details, or with any questions.
