Summary: The Fender Stratocaster is arguably the most popular electric guitar ever designed. In 1981, the American-made Stratocaster was renamed the Standard Stratocaster to avoid confusion with other models. In 1986, it was renamed the American Standard Stratocaster. This particular Stratocaster is from 1993 and it has a wonderful “Midnight Blue” finish and a rosewood fingerboard.
Body: Solid body Stratocaster with a “Midnight Blue” finish
Neck: Maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, dot inlays, original tuning keys, 22 frets, 1 9/16” nut width, 24.75” scale length.
Pickups/Hardware: 3 single coil pickups, 5-way switch, original Fender tuning keys, W/B/W 3 ply pickguard, chrome hardware.
Cosmetics: This Fender shows lots of normal wear associated with a guitar that is over 25 years old. There are pick scratches on the pickguard & lots of small dings & scratches on the guitar
Playability: This Fender Stratocaster feels great – we set it up with a new set of 10’s and the action is low & comfortable. The frets are in good shape & have tons of life left.
