Summary: The American Standard Stratocaster is always an easy choice for a reliable & classy instrument that is made to be played – and it keeps on getting better & better with age. This particular Fender is from 2012 and it has a wonderful “Candy Cola” finish & a great feeling rosewood fingerboard that looks great with the dark red finish.
Body: Solid body double cutaway Stratocaster with Fenders Candy Cola finish & a 3-ply W/B/W pickguard.
Neck: This Fender has a maple neck with a rosewood fingerboard, white dot inlays, 22 frets, 1 11/16” nut width, 25.5” scale length
Pickups/Hardware: 3 Fender single coil pickups, chrome hardware, original Fender tuning keys, white dot inlays, 5-way selector switch, master volume knob, 2 tone knobs. There is a no load tone pot in the treble position which is bypassed when it is all the way up, resulting in a brighter tone.
Cosmetics: From a distance this guitar looks fabulous & it shines but when you get up close you will see normal signs of wear such as pick scratches, small dings on the body and scratches around the edges of the body. The back-plate is missing. There are a few small dings on the back of the neck but it doesn’t affect playability.
Playability: We set this instrument up with a new set of 10’s and it plays great up & down the fingerboard. The frets are in good shape & have lots of life left in them.
Modifications: Missing back plate.
Weight: 7 lbs, 13 oz.
