2008 Fender American Standard Telecaster Natural Ash

This 2008 Fender American Standard Telecaster is in excellent condition. This instrument shows only light signs of play wear throughout and appears to have been very well cared for. The plastic switch tip is missing in action and the strap buttons have been replaced with a set of locking units. Featuring a very nice ash body, this guitar is pretty lightweight coming in at 7lb 12oz and it rings out loud when played unplugged! The neck profile on this Tele is that of a medium C shaped carve that feels excellent in the hand and is very comfortable to play. The fret wire is in great condition, shows very little play wear and is free of any dents or divots. This instrument has been properly set up and it plays fantastic up and down the maple fingerboard with low snappy action and spot on intonation (thanks to the six saddle Fender bridge). The electronics are original and are in perfect working order. Both original Fender pickups sound excellent and are not overly bright or “ice pick” like. The bridge pickup has a bright articulation that is balanced and touch sensitive and the neck pickup is warmer and rounder with just enough top end. If you are looking for a killer American made Telecaster, I highly recommend this ash bodied stunner!
