Fender American Vintage '57 Stratocaster 1986 Lake Placid Blue AVRI Nitro Beautiful Aging! w/ Case

This guitar looks absolutely gorgeous in person, and plays even better! The nitro finish had checked quite a bit, and aged all the right ways. Sounds fantastic, and is a great vintage Stratocaster all around. 

The pickups where swapped for Fender Custom Shop vintage strat pickups before I acquired this one, these sound great and compliment the guitar well! I do not have the originals. Guitar is otherwise original. Frets are used but in nice shape with lots of life left. 

Shows aging/wear as pictured. Overall in great shape considering its age, the nitro has flaked a little in a couple spots, such as the corner of the neck plate. The screw hole at the bottom of the electronics category wore through the side a bit as shown, previous owner swapped that screw for a longer one. 

Includes the pictured period correct hard case, its a bit big for a strat, so I'm thinking this was for an AVRI Jazzmaster, or Jaguar of the same era. The right latch is broken, and the middle is loose. Will of course be packed accordingly, with the utmost care.
