2017 Fender Classic Player Baja Telecaster Butterscotch Blonde
Summary: This 2017 Fender Baja Tele is one of the finest instruments Fender has ever produced in this price range. It has a nice full U shaped maple neck, ash body with butterscotch blonde finish and modern tele wiring with 4 way switch and S1 switch. It has just been setup by our in house guitar tech and restrung with a new set of 10s.
Body: Ash body with butterscotch blonde finish and single ply white guard.
Neck: U shaped maple neck, 25.5” scale length, 1.65” nut width and vintage style tuning keys and string tree.
Pickups/Hardware: The bridge has 3 brass saddles, white pickguard and 2 single coil pickups with 4 way toggle, volume, tone and S1 switch in the volume knob center.
FOUR-WAY PICKUP SWITCHING
The Classic Player Baja Tele's four-way pickup switch adds a fourth tonal variation to the standard Tele complement. Position four combines the neck and bridge pickups in series for fatter tone and higher output, creating raw rocking tone.
S-1™ SWITCH
For even more tonal versatility, pushbutton S-1 switching presents special pickup and wiring modifications. On this special Telecaster model, the S-1 switch is built into the volume control knob and changes the pickup wiring from in-phase to out-of-phase when both pickups are on.
CUSTOM SHOP PICKUPS
This already-distinctive Classic Player Telecaster model also features a specially voiced Twisted Tele® neck pickup and stinging custom bridge pickup, both from the very best of our best, the Fender Custom Shop.
Cosmetics: This guitar is in great shape with no major scratches, dings or dents to mention. There are some scratches on the pickguard.
Playability: Our in house luthier has just inspected, set up and restrung this guitar with a new set of 10s and it is playing beautifully with low action and a straight neck. The frets are in great shape with no grooves or divots.
Modifications: The original black pickguard has been replaced with a single ply white guard, giving it more of a ’54 Tele look.

Case: This Fender does not have a case but we will ship it professionally packed and fully insured!
