This has to be the cleanest mid-60s Bandmaster out there. The tolex, grill cloth and the control panel are all as close to mint as you you'll see.
We were blown away by the big, rich tone. Everything about the amp performs as perfect as it looks.
Internally, the head is completely original. Transformers and pots date to 1965 and early 1966.. The filter caps are still intact and original, and anyone interested in using the amp regularly should consider replacing them. We can do the work prior to shipping for $95 in additional cost. Old caps will be retained and shipped with the amp.
The cabinet does have replaced speakers - a set of 12" Oxfords from 1968 that we've never seen in a Fender amp. They do sound fantastic, however. The wiring between the two speakers was replaced, likely when the speakers were swapped out. The original Fender speaker cable is included to connect the head to the amp.
