1962 Fender Bass VI in great condition. This guitar came from the collection of Jason Newsted of Metallica fame. Alder body, maple neck, slab Brazilian rosewood fingerboard, three strat style single coil pickups, Jazzmaster style floating tremolo, and a sunburst nitrocellulose lacquer finish. This is one of the early versions of the Bass VI before the pickups are switched to something more resembling Jaguar pickups. Neck is 1 9/16" wide at the nut, profile is 0.82" at the 1st fret, 1.00" at the 12th fret. Weight is 8.81lbs. Comes with a later 60s Fender hardshell case and a signed COA from Jason Newsted.
