Here's a clean example of Fender's most affordable humbucker-equipped Jazzmaster ever! The Blacktop Jazzmaster HS delivers incredible tone, without draining your wallet. A vintage-style Duncan-Designed alnico humbucker at the bridge position provides plenty of smoking, high-gain aggressive tones, while the Duncan-Designed single-coil neck pickup supplies loads of grit and twang.
This variation also features a simplified three-way toggle switch instead of the usual array of Jazzmaster controls, and skirted black amp knobs.
This Blacktop Jazzmaster HS is in VG+ condition, with various minor scratches. Its tremelo arm is also missing. It has an estimated 95% remaining fret life, and is good for years and years of creative exploration.
