Here we have a sweet MIM Fender Esquire that has an added humbucker in the neck position. In fact both pickups have been upgraded (details in Specs below). This guitar is in excellent condition with slight playwear overall and a couple of small nicks on the back. The top of the headstock has a few tiny bump marks as well, but overall the guitar looks great.
Basic Specs: Nickel vintage-style Fender tuners. Comfortable 1 11/16 inch nut. One piece Maple neck with traditional Fender 25.5 inch scale length. Medium C profile with a neck depth of .86 inches at the first fret and .93 inches at the twelfth fret. Maple fingerboard with 21 vintage-style frets and a 7.25 inch radius. Added neck pickup is a Gibson ’57 Classic. The bridge position has a steel pole single coil pickup. CTS pots. Unslotted steel saddles. Replacement 8-hole black pickguard on a 5-hole body.
We love the Classic Series Fender Telecasters. Though they’re made in Mexico, they are head and shoulders above the standard MIM Fenders. This one has been customized in the best possible way and so that raises its game even further. You can’t go wrong with this one.
