Description

Here’s a 1968 Fender Custom Esquire in its original Sunburst finish! One cool detail on this piece is it features an original “spaghetti” logo; presumably leftover stock after the CBS purchase. Spaghetti logos can be seen well into the CBS era on Custom decals specifically! As evidenced by the buckle rash and weather checking, this was someone’s player piece and we understand why! This single pickup is incredibly dynamic; you can easily get that “quacky” tone or make it sound thicker and full. This guitar has one of the cleanest refrets we’ve seen with virtually no wear, and the rosewood fretboard looks great with this flamey maple neck. The bottom of the guitar has an area of flakey finish; perhaps from some mild moisture exposure.

Overall Condition: 7, weather checking, patina, flakey finish on the bottom
