Fender Custom Shop 2005 1951 Nocaster NOS

This is a '51 Nocaster NOS model with a blond finish and black pickguard.

It is a reissue of a model produced in early 1951 without the model name on the headstock and is finished in NOS, which is a replica of the new shipment.

The neck is a U-shape, with a 7.25 radius fingerboard, vintage type frets, and current wiring controls.

The pickups are original '51 Nocaster Singlecoil.

The capacitor has been replaced with an orange drop, both pots have been replaced with CTS'22s, the knobs have been replaced, and a high pass capacitor has been added (current wiring).

There is major paint damage on the top, three paint peeling on the back, color transfer on the edges and ends, some tiny dents and scratches throughout including the back of the neck and fingerboard, and weather checking throughout the body.

The frets have been rubbed together and are not dented, with about 60-70% remaining overall, and the neck and truss rod are both in good condition.

The guitar originally came with two cases, but the molded case is missing, the guitar only comes with the form-fit tweed case.

The COA is missing.
