Fender Custom Shop 2020 1952 Telecaster Heavy Relic
This is a "1952 Telecaster Heavy Relic" model in black finish.
The use of Phillips screws only and the spacing of the position markers at the 12th fret are within the '53 specification.
The neck grip and body finish have been stripped and the texture of the guitar over the years, such as finely detailed weathering, body edge scratches and tarnished metal parts, has been reproduced using the brick process.
The neck is a slightly thicker 52 STYLE "U" shape, the frets are narrow-tall type and the fingerboard has a 9.5-12R (compound radius) radius.
The pickups are "Hand Wound Twisted Telecaster" signed "LD" on the neck and bridge, and "Hand Wound 50-51 Blackguard" signed "LD" on the bridge.
There is very little signs of wear, with little or no fret wear and no problems with the neck or truss rod.
