Fender Custom Shop 2010 1954 Esquire Closet Classic
The "1954 Esquire Closet Classic" model has a simple spec with one pickup.
The fine weather checks on the entire body and the tarnishing of the metal parts have been reproduced to give the guitar a vintage look.
The neck is a slightly thicker soft V-shape with a 9.5 radius fingerboard and medium jumbo type frets, and there is a counterbore under the pickguard similar to that of the original regular Telecaster.
The pickups are the original black bobbin type, and the controls are tone bypass / tone control / preset tone.
The pickguard has been replaced and the bridge saddle has been replaced by a steel type without grooves. (Both original parts are missing).
There are numerous tiny dents and scuffs on the entire body.
The frets are about 80% remaining with no dents, and the neck and truss rod are both in good playing condition with no problems.
The COA and original hard case are missing, and the guitar comes with a general-purpose hard case.
