This "1954 Stratocaster Super Heavy Relic" model was produced to celebrate the 70th anniversary of the Stratocaster.
It features a one-piece ash body, one-piece maple neck, rounded pickup covers, and other 1954 specs, and the Super Heavy Relic treatment has been applied to the paint peeling and weather checking, giving it a stunning look reminiscent of a vintage guitar that has been heavily used.
The neck grip is a thick "70th Ann Strat" shape, and the fingerboard has a compound radius of 7.25"-9.5" with medium vintage type frets for better playability.
The pickups are hand-wound 54 Strat pickups signed "VP".
Neck and truss rod are both in good condition.
