Fender Custom Shop 2022 1959 Stratocaster Relic
This is the "1959 Stratocaster Relic" model that was produced as a limited edition of 2021 Winter Limited Edition.
It is a reissue of a 1959 Stratocaster with a 1-piece pickguard and slab laminated fingerboard, and the relic process has reproduced peeling paint and fine weather checks throughout the body, giving it the look of a well-worn vintage guitar.
The back of the neck has a "Heavy Relic" finish with peeling paint, the neck has a slightly thicker 60 Style Oval C shape, a dark shade 9.5 R fingerboard with jumbo type frets.
The pickups are three hand-wound Texas Specials signed "NG" and wired as "Vintage Mod. Wiring #2" with a separate capacitor for the bridge position.
The neck and truss rod are both in good condition.
