2018 Fender Custom Shop 1960 NoNeck Stratocaster Faded Sonic Blue

This 2018 Fender Custom Shop 1960 Stratocaster is in excellent condition and shows light play wear throughout. This guitar has a few small dings on the body, some light pick scratches and the pickguard has been replaced with a genuine Fender aged three ply white parchment unit. This model is a Music Zoo exclusive and was only available through their shop. If you’ve ever wanted a Fender Custom Shop Stratocaster with 1960s vibe, appointments and tone combined with a FAT 1951 style “U” shaped “Nocaster” neck profile with a rosewood board, then this Sonic Blue stunner is going to make you a happy camper! This is by far one of the best feeling, most comfortable necks on any guitar that we have played in quite some time and if you love a big chunky “U” shaped neck profile, then you will feel right at home. This neck has a light oil finish on the back and is silky smooth in the hand. The fret wire on this guitar is in great shape showing only a little play wear and has tons of life left. This Stratocaster was set up here in our shop and it plays outstanding up and down the dark rosewood fingerboard with low smooth action and great intonation. The electronics are original and have not been tampered with and the Fender Custom Shop 60 pickups sound phenomenal! This pickup set delivers a super clear strong bell-like tone that is well balanced in all 5 positions. This Stratocaster has a nice full tone even in the bridge position and doesn’t do that shrill “ice pick” thing that a lot of Strats do. This instrument excels with clean tones and a slightly broken up amp, but also sounded righteous when I test drove it through my 1972 Marshall Lead 50! Just a killer sounding Strat! This guitar came to us without a case or COA. I know many folks think that COAs make guitars sound better, but that isn't true (haha). But, since those things aren’t included, we are gonna price this Custom Shop Strat attractively and hope it finds a great new home! This guitar weighs 7lb 12oz, will be housed in a Fender gig bag and will ship out promptly and securely from our little shop here in Tennessee to your front door!
