Relic加工の施されたFender Custom Shop Stratocaster!!
Fender工場内に独自のラインを持つFender Custom Shopは、Fender内で最高峰の楽器を作るセクションとなっており、奇想天外なモデルはもちろん、様々な年代の仕様を忠実に再現したモデルを手掛けています。
今回入荷した1961 Stratocaster Relicは、その名の通り61年製のStratocasterを復刻しており、スラブローズ指版にクレイドット、アルダーボディにミントカラーの3Pピックガードなど当時の仕様をそのまま再現。
またエルボーカット部分の塗装剥がれやボディ全体にウェザーチェックが施されており、2016年製とは思えない渋さを感じることができます。
ネックシェイプはネックサイドの肉付きが程良く、パッと握った際は、あれネック太いかな？と感じますが、いざ構えてみると、思ったよりも太さを感じない不思議な感覚のシェイプとなっています。
ピックガードの焼け具合などもしっかりと再現されている貫禄のある一本です！
