Fender Custom Shop 2018 1962 Stratocaster Relic
This is a recreation of a 1962 Stratocaster, the last of the slab-laminated Rosewood fingerboard era.
Weatherchecks and peeling paint have been reproduced by the relic processing, giving it a vintage look.
The neck has a slightly slender "60 Style OVAL C" shape, and the fingerboard is made of black shade rosewood with 9.5R radius and 6105 frets for better playability.
The pickups are hand-wound Fat 60s signed "CG" and Vintage Mod wired. #2 wiring with bridge tone and treble bleed circuit. (On the spec sheet they are incorrectly listed it as Vintage Mod. #1.)
The frets show little wear, and the neck and truss rod are both in good condition.
