Fender Custom Shop Ltd '55 Dual-Mag Stratocaster Relic 2020 - Aged Taos Turquoise
Here we have an awesome 2020 '55 Dual Mag Stratocaster Relic from the Fender Custom Shop! This is a Limited Edition model featuring an Aged Taos Turquoise finish.
Specs include an ash body, quarter sawn maple neck, 6105 fret wire, and compound 7.25" to 9.5" radius. It has hand wound Dual-Mag pickups, Greasebucket tone circuit and a 1/2 blender. The finish is their thin flash coat, and the color hue has been 'aged' to look more vintage. The relic work is nicely done with the finish worn off the back of the neck, along with subtle forearm and buckle wear.
The guitar weighs 7lbs 4oz. The neck measures .900 to .985 at the 1st and 12th. It has a '54 soft V neck profile, though the apex of the V is almost non-existent. It feels full without being too large, and plays evenly up and down with the worn back. The guitar has a deep resonance off the body acoustically. It sounds like a classic ash / maple guitar with a punchy low end and glassy highs. The dual mag pickups are calibrated for even volume / output across the strings and we find that they perform quite well. The guitar is bluesy and twangy in all the right ways.
Ships in the original case and includes the COA, hang tag, floor traveler, strap, design guide, bridge cover, picks and other paperwork. There is no tremolo arm included.

Damaged or Lost Items & Insurance: All items ship fully insured. It is the responsibility of Tone Wolf to deliver your item in the condition outlined in the product listing. However, as hard as we try, sometimes things happen beyond our control once the item is in the hands of the carrier. All items can be returned within 7 days of receipt. When you shop at Tone Wolf, you'll have one week from the date of delivery to decide if the gear is right for you.
