Summary: The Dick Dale Stratocaster® guitar honors the sound and style of the self-proclaimed King of Surf Guitar, with features including an alder body, specially shaped maple neck with reverse headstock, rosewood fingerboard, three Custom ’50s pickups with special switching, master volume control and original synchronized tremolo.

Body: Double cutaway contoured solid body of select alder. Urethane finish in Chartreuse Sparkle.

Neck: Lightly figured maple. Rosewood fretboard with white dot fret markers. “C” shape neck carve. Reverse headstock. Gloss urethane finish. 21 vintage style frets. Synthetic bone nut. 25.5” scale length. 9.5” radius. 1.6” nut width.

Pickups/Hardware: Three Custom Shop Fat 50s single coil pickups. Master volume control. Three position blade pickup selector. Toggle switch: bypasses three-position blade switch to activate neck and middle pickup only. Six saddle American Vintage synchronized tremolo bridge. Vintage style tuning machines. Three-ply mint green pickguard.

Cosmetics: This guitar is in excellent condition with little sign of wear. There is a tiny light finish scratch at the tip of the headstock; other than that, this instrument is incredibly clean. The fretboard is dark, the frets full, and the finish sparkling bright.

Playability: The C shape neck is smooth and fast, action is set fairly low with plenty of room for adjustment, and play up and down the neck is great with no buzz of dead spots. The modified pickup system makes great tones available at the flick of a switch.
