Fender Custom Shop 2021 Limited '63 Stratocaster Heavy Relic
This is an Aged 3-tone Sunburst "1963 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic" model produced as a 2021 Winter Limited Edition.
The body is a reissue of a 1963 Stratocaster with a round laminated fingerboard, and the body was finished as in between "Relic" and "Heavy Relic", with the paint peeling damage reproduced a little less than recent Heavy Relic. The back of the neck has been stripped off its paint to give it a Heavy Relic finish.
The neck is a slightly thicker "63 Strat Style C" shape, and the fingerboard is made of AAA grade rosewood with a 9.5R radius and narrow-tall frets for better playability.
The pickups are hand-wound "FAT 60s" signed "CG" and equipped with "Vintage Mod. Wiring #2" with a separate capacitor for the bridge position.
The guitar is in excellent condition with almost no signs of wear, almost no fret wear, and no problems with the neck or truss rod.
