A most fabulous one-of-a-kind Telecaster if ever there was one, built for a long-time Fender staffer to his own specs (and he’s a hot player too). Showing on its CoA (included of course) is “Ltd 50’s Tele Journeyman”. Thing is, it's a Tele Thinline, semi-hollow body with one F-hole, which didn’t exist in the '50s. No matter, it's a very special Fender guitar. It's got ’51 Nocaster pickups, just enough “relic" stuff on the fingerboard to show cool finish wear (though the frets are perfect), and about the coolest one-of-a-knd finish I've every seen on a Tele. BRG (for British Racing Green, which it for sure ain’t) was specified but somehow it got darker and also got just enough teeny bit of metallicness to make you go “What??!!???” Dang! I’m betting that someone at Fender went a bit understated and overboard and could never duplicate this again. So…….the important stuff: Plug it in and when you ask it to it'll go all the way; it plays like all day long and half the night, and you'll never see another like it. Fender Custom Shop “Floor Traveler” paper and serial-numbered hang tag included. Great 50s-style tweed hard shell case too, even still has the shipping wrapper on its handle. You ain’t never gonna find another like this. Only $2995 w/ohsc
