Fender Custom Shop 2022 Limited 62/63 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic
This is a "1962/1963 Stratocaster Journeyman Relic" model with an Aged Olympic finish and rounded rosewood fingerboard.
The round rosewood fingerboard, pickguard screw holes, position mark spacing, etc. are faithfully reproduced.
It has a Journeyman Relic finish that reproduces the moderate use, and the back of the neck has a Heavy Relic finish with the paint stripped off.
The neck is a slightly thicker 1963 "C" shape, the fingerboard is a compound radius from 7.25 " to 9.5 "R with medium vintage frets that are slightly larger than vintage frets.
The pickups are hand-wound "60/63ST" with "AV" signs, and the circuit is Vintage Mod. #2, which prevents high-frequency attenuation when the volume is turned down.
There is a very slight dented area at the frets in the low position of the plain strings, but otherwise there is not much wear elsewhere and the neck and truss rod are in good condition.
