Fender Custom Shop 2021 Limited Edition 1961 Stratocaster Heavy Relic

The "1961 Stratocaster Heavy Relic" model was produced in a limited edition for the 2021 Spring Event.

This limited edition model features a faded 3-tone sunburst finish, tortoiseshell pickguard, and a roasted maple neck.

The neck grip and body paint has been peeled off, and the body has been repainted, with fine weather checks, body edge scratches, and tarnished metal parts, all of which have been heavily played over the years and reproduced by the brick process.

The neck is a "60 Style Oval C" shape with a relatively clean and comfortable grip, and the AAA grade black rosewood fingerboard has a 9.5R radius and narrow-tall frets.

The pickups are hand-wound Fat 60s STRAT pickups signed "VC".

(Shallow tone effect is achieved in the rear position.)

The frets have a very shallow dent on the low position plain strings, but there is not much wear on the other parts of the fret, and the neck and truss rod are in good condition.
