Designed to be a mainstay in your collection of bass guitars, the ever-astounding Custom Shop Limited Edition model Fender Precision Bass Special Journeyman Relic brings all of the quality of Fender Custom Shop construction into the form of a one-of-a-kind P-Bass. Masterfully-built in America, this bass has an Aged Charcoal Frost Metallic Journeyman Relic lacquer finish that makes it looks as if it's seen years on the road.
This striking P-Bass offers a two-piece alder solidbody, complete with a supremely fast and comfortable quarter sawn maple neck with a '60s J-Bass U-profile and a 7.25" fingerboard radius that offers ultimate playability. The AAA rosewood fingerboard on top is as smooth as ever, with a set of twenty medium-jumbo frets and special block facedots to match.
Installed is a hand-wired '65-'70 split P-Bass relic'd single-coil at the neck, and it's matched by the hand-wired '75 J-Bass single-coil at the bridge for a powerful, intriguing and stylish bass voice. It can be shaped using the two volume and single tone control, and is held steady by the RSD DLX Hi-Mass-style bridge that can be strung top-load or through body. Truly a rare addition to your bass arsenal, the Custom Shop Fender P-Bass Special Journeyman Relic will elevate your sound — available now at Replay Guitar Exchange!
