Fender Custom Shop 2015 Limited Edition 20th Anniversary Relic Stratocaster

This "20th Anniversary Relic Stratocaster" model was produced in a limited edition of 95 pieces to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Fender Custom Shop's Relic model.

This model features the same vintage blonde and gold parts as the first model with the Relic finish model introduced at the 1995 NAMM Show, also known as the "Mary Kaye" style.

Bold and elaborate relic work has been applied to reproduce the peeling paint on the entire neck grip, cigarette burn marks near the 6th string post on the headstock, and the lacquer on the fingerboard surface that has been scraped off over the years, as well as the discoloration around the frets.

The neck is a slightly thicker "10/56 “V-shape, with a 9.5R fingerboard and vintage tall type frets.

The pickups are hand-wound Fat 50s (unsigned), and the bridge pickup is also wired for tone control.

The frets are not dented, there is over 90% remaining overall, and the neck and truss rod are both in good condition.

The original arm is missing, and a silver arm is included.
