1995 Fender CS Masterbuilt JW Black SET!
To say this set is rare is a massive understatement. JW Black (Fender Masterbuilder extraordinaire) made 2 sets of these for Fender Executives to celebrate the 40th Anniversary of the Strat. These are similar to the Diamond Dealer 40th Anniversary Strats except these are MASTERBUILT and not just teambuilt like those. Also, J. Black made these a set by adding a matching Telecaster.
These are difficult to price but let's compare to models that we do know about. The 40th Ann Diamond Dealer Strats are pushing $7-10K for mint examples and they are team-built, they made 150 of them and there's no tele! Here we are talking about one of the premier Fender Masterbuilders ever, 2 sets made for Fender execs only and a matching set in absolutely MINT condition. Investment-grade.
Early Fender Custom Shop collectors, here is somewhat of a holy grail. I don't think you'll ever have a chance at this rare and exclusive set again.
