Fender Custom Shop 2016 MBS 1954 Telecaster Heavy Relic by Jason Smith
This is a "1954 Telecaster Heavy Relic" model built by master builder Jason Smith.
It is a reissue of a 1954 Telecaster with a one-piece ash body.
The builder has recreated the fine weather checks and dents on the entire body, the buckle marks on the body back, and the peeling paint on the back of the neck, giving it a vintage look that has been heavily played over the years.
The neck is a slightly thicker soft V-shape, the fingerboard radius is 7.25R, and medium jumbo type frets are used.
The pickups are hand-wired pickups (flat pole piece) signed by Ms. Josefina.
The frets are slightly dented in some areas, mainly in the low position, but there is about 80% remaining overall, and there are no problems with the neck and truss rod.
