2007 Custom Shop Master Built ’57 Telecaster Closet Classic by Jason Smith
This "1957 Telecaster Closet Classic" model was built by Jason Smith, who worked under master builder John English and became a master builder at a young age.
The fine mesh pattern weather checks and tarnished metal parts have been meticulously reproduced by the master builder, showing the age-related changes that occur when an instrument is built new and stored for a long time without much use.
The neck is a narrow V-type shape, with a 7.25R fingerboard radius and vintage frets.
It is lightweight at 3.22kg and is equipped with a set of Nocaster PUs marked "51" pickups.
There is a signature of Jason Smith himself on the back of the head.
There is no fret wear and the neck and truss rod are both in good working order.
