Fender Custom Shop 2022 MBS 1959 Stratocaster Journeyman Closet Classic Master Built by Greg Fessler (Teal Green Metallic / M)
This "1959 Stratocaster Journeyman Closet Classic" maple neck model was built by master builder Greg Fessler.
It combines the Journeyman Relic finish, which reproduces fine weather checks and minor scuffs throughout the body, and the Closet Classic finish hardware, which reproduces dullness.
The body is offset two-piece ash, the neck is AAA roasted bird's eye maple, and the tortoiseshell pickguard & head adjustment rod are special Masterbuilt features.
The neck grip is 59 Esquiere "C" shape with a slightly thicker high position, and the fingerboard radius is 7.25R with vintage type frets.
The pickups are equipped with hand-wound Eric Johnson pickups signed by Josefina Campos.
The frets have over 90% remaining, and the neck and truss rod are both in good condition.
