Fender Custom Shop 2019 MBS 1960 Stratocaster Ultra Heavy Relic Master Built by Kyle Mcmillin
This is a “1960 Stratocaster Stratocaster Ultra Heavy Relic" model in Ultra Heavy Relic finish built by Master Builder Kyle McMillin.
Kyle McMillin was promoted to Master Builder in 2018 after gaining experience as an assistant to Yuriy Shishkov.
The guitar has been given a bold relic treatment that reproduces large paint peeling and rust, giving it the stunning look of a vintage guitar that has been used intensively and continuously.
It has an anodized pickguard and gold hardware. The neck is a relatively slim 60 Style Oval C shape, , and the fingerboard has a 9.5 radius with Narrow Toll 6105 frets.
The pickups are a set of hand-wound Fat 50s signed by Josefina Campos.
The guitar shows minimal wear, has almost no fret wear, and the neck and truss rod are in good condition.
