Fender Custom Shop 2006 MBS Tribute Series Eric Clapton “Blackie” Master Built by Greg Fessler
The "Tribute Series Eric Clapton Blackie Stratocaster" was produced in a limited edition of 275 pieces worldwide.
This model is a complete reproduction of the "Blackie" Stratocaster used by Eric Clapton from 1973 to 1985 and was built by Greg Fessler.
It is also well known for its record-breaking bid of $959,500 at Christie's auction in 2004.
The guitar has been completely restored with the same paint peeling, cigarette burn marks on the headstock, replaced 3-string bridge saddle, sealing process on the back of the pickguard, grey bobbin pickups, replaced 1st string tuner, and other specs.
The guitar is in players condition, the frets have been rubbed together and have about 70% remaining, and the neck and truss rod are in good working order.
All accessories are missing except the tour case.
