Fender Custom Shop 2002 MBS Jeff Beck Stratocaster by Todd Krause
This "Jeff Beck Stratocaster" was built by master builder Todd Kraus, who has worked on guitars used by Jeff Beck himself.
Although the certificate says "Custom Stratocaster", the specs are for a Jeff Beck model, and the warranty card from that time also says JB.
The neck is made of quartersawn maple, and like the Jeff Beck model, it has a roller nut, two-point bridge, Spurzel lock tuners, heel-less cut neck joint, brimmed 22 frets, locking strap pins and other unique features that make it highly playable.
The neck has a relatively slim shape for a Jeff Beck model, and the pickups are original noiseless, with conductive paint originally applied to the cavity.
There are shims under the roller nut.
The overall condition is very good for its age, with virtually no damage, although there is some age-related tanning throughout.
The frets are barely worn and the neck and truss rod are both in good condition.
The original protective sticker is still on the pickguard, but it cannot be removed cleanly and may leave a mark, so it will be delivered as is.
