Created by master builder “Jason Smith” as a special one to be displayed at The NAMM Show 2019,

The ultimate one that became the talk of the town has miraculously arrived!

Jason is a veteran builder whose father is Fender's legendary R&D staff member Dan Smith.

He joined Fender Custom Shop in 1995 and studied under the renowned Senior Master Builder John English for 5 years.

In 2006, he was already a master builder.

The new model is based on the 59 ESQUIRE,

This model is based on the 59 ESQUIRE, and hand painted to create a unique and artistic piece.

The Grand Staircase-Escalante National Monument is located in Utah, USA,

The beautiful scenery of sandstone cliffs and canyons where colorful strata from more than 100 million years ago are exposed,

The inspiration for this piece came from the beautiful scenery of the sandstone cliffs and canyons in Escalante National Monument.

The lightweight 2P ash, which has been heavily sandblasted to emphasize its stratified grain, is used to create this piece,

Jason Smith hand-painted the guitar with multiple layers of lacquer to recreate the majestic natural beauty.

The neck shape is “60 STYLE OVAL C”.

The frets are Narrow Tall (6105), which has become a standard in recent years.

Pickups are Josefina's “HW 63 TELE BRG NOS”.

Normally, the wiring is simple with dummy selector and 1V 1Tone,

When the volume pot is pulled, a preset tone can be selected by the 3-way selector.

The sound is very nice, ranging from very straight and sparkling to moderately sweet.

The light weight of this guitar gives it a raw acoustic sound that adds depth to the output from the amp.

It is in like-new condition with no paint chips.

If you look closely, there are a few things that you can't tell if they are dings or grain in the wood,

It is difficult to determine immediately whether they are dents or wood grain.

The frets are not worn and the truss rod is in good condition.

There have been several models featuring painting artists,

This is a one-of-a-kind model, and the painting was done by Jason Smith himself.
